After obtaining a Bachelor of Law (2010) and a Master of Law (2011) from the University of Fribourg, Charles Navarro began his career as a legal officer at the Secretariat of the Swiss Competition Commission.
He then completed his legal traineeship at the law firm Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva, before joining the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, where he successively held the positions of Assistant Federal Prosecutor and, later, acting Federal Prosecutor.
This experience at the heart of criminal prosecution, in particular in complex white-collar crime cases, gave him in-depth knowledge of criminal procedure and the strategic challenges involved in high-impact proceedings. It also forms the basis of his current practice as a lawyer specializing in dispute resolution and criminal defense, especially in the field of white-collar crime.
At the same time, Charles Navarro has been regularly appointed as a special prosecutor at both federal and cantonal levels and lectures on criminal law at several Swiss universities and institutions of higher education. He is a member of the Fribourg Bar Association, the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, and the Swiss Society for Criminal Law.
